Here Be Monsters
A Who's Who of Butler Faculty, Staff, Students, and Alumni Perform at this Year's Austin indie-classical two-day music festival.
Move over Austin City Limits and SXSW festival; there's a new music festival in town. Here Be Monsters is a two-day event designed to showcase and celebrate Austin's indie-classical artists and creators. This festival will feature 20 groups and 12 world premieres. The second annual festival will be held at Radio East from 7pm to 12 am on Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26.
We will be covering all the action live right here. Witness your favorite Butler artists breaking new ground and keeping Austin the Live Music Capital of the World.

Jerry Junkin Focuses on the Future at Carnegie Hall
At Carnegie Hall, on June 2nd, the Texas Wind Ensemble, under the baton of Wind Ensemble conductor Jerry Junkin, will take the stage. For 35 years, Junkin has led the Texas Wind Ensemble, a cornerstone of musical excellence.
