Bates Recital Hall
2406 Robert Dedman Drive
Located on the third floor of the music building, Bates Recital Hall is the main venue for our large ensembles, from orchestras and big bands, to chamber ensembles and solo recitals. Bates is also home to the school's Visser-Rowland organ, one of the largest tracker organs in the country.

Recital Studio

Located inside the music building, the Recital Studio doubles as a lecture hall and chamber performance space, hosting student recitals, chamber groups, master classes and guest lectures. It also hosts many smaller ensemble concerts and guest recitals.

Jessen Auditorium
201 W. 21st St.
Located across campus from the Butler School in Homer Rainey Hall, near the UT tower and the Littlefield Fountain, Jessen Auditorium is the school's original performance hall. With seating for 325 and stunning acoustics, Jessen is an ideal hall for chamber music and solo recitals.

McCullough Theatre

Operated by Texas Performing Arts, and conveniently located just south of the Butler School, McCullough Theatre is home to the Butler Opera Center.
