Electric LaTex is an annual electronic and experimental music festival celebrating the creative work of university students from Texas and Louisiana. Entirely student-organized and curated, the festival brings together universities to showcase and enjoy each other's work, build connections among students and faculty, and strengthen the community of electronic and experimental musicians in the region.

This year’s festival will be hosted by the University of Texas at Austin on January 17–18, 2025, at Bates Recital Hall. Six schools will participate: the University of North Texas, Rice University, Texas A&M University, Tulane University, Louisiana State University, and UT Austin.

The festival will feature four concerts presenting a diverse range of works, including solo electronics, electroacoustic compositions, multimedia pieces with video, and electronic/electroacoustic improvisations. In addition to the concerts, there will be multiple sound and video installations displayed at the Butler School of Music.
