Clarinet Student wins Competitions

This week, first-year master’s student in clarinet Paul Hafley was announced as the first prize winner for the 2020 International Clarinet Association Young Artist AND Orchestral Audition Competitions. His solo and orchestral playing were reviewed by four distinct panels of acclaimed clarinetists and awarded the top prizes in both categories across all entries internationally. He is the winner of $3,500, a Buffet Traditional B-flat clarinet, and a Chevedille mouthpiece.
