Tonight at 9 p.m., KMFA 89.5 FM, Austin’s premier classical music station, will showcase the exceptional talents of the Butler concerto winners from the University of Texas. This broadcast highlights some of the performances from the winners of the prestigious concerto competition held last April.

Tonight, listeners will have the opportunity to relive these remarkable moments as KMFA airs select performances from the event.  The program will feature pianist Claire Chiang, performing W.A. Mozart’s Concerto for Piano No. 24 in C Minor, K. 491. Violinist Ellie Sievers will play Igor Stravinsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major. Additionally, soprano Maria del Pilar Pavlova will enchant listeners with Verdi’s Pace, pace mio Dio from Forza del Destino.

Tune in at 9 p.m. on 89.5 FM or www.KMFA.org to hear these extraordinary performances. Join Tyler Ehrlich for this week’s edition of "From the Butler School,".
