Midday Music Series is a collaboration between the Butler School of Music and the Blanton Museum of Art exploring connections between art and a variety of musical genres. This month, the Cordova Quartet is joined by an ensemble from the Department of Theatre and Dance to perform a multidisciplinary interpretation of a score by Kenji Bunch. The musicians begin playing in a traditional formation, but throughout the piece are moved by the dancers into different formations, constantly building physical contact and interaction, blurring the lines between musician and dancer.
