Welcome to the Double Bass Studios at the University of Texas at Austin!

Double Bass students at the Butler School receive training in the standard solo, ensemble, and orchestral literature for their instruments. Students achieve a high degree of professional competence and appropriate stylistic approaches to the literature of various historical periods.
