Samuel Acosta

Samuel Acosta has been playing trumpet since 2007, starting in public school in Leander, TX. After graduation in 2015, he pursued an education in trumpet performance at Texas Tech University where he graduated in 2020. He went on to complete his master's degree in trumpet performance at The University of Texas at Austin from 2020-2022 and is working to complete his doctoral studies in 2025. Sam enjoys playing in wind ensembles, orchestras, and chamber groups while cultivating a community of musical friendships at The University of Texas at Austin.
