Nathan is a highly sought-after portrait and event photographer and graphic designer based in Durango, Colorado. Named a top-12 wedding photographer in 2019 by the event-industry publication Peerspace, his work has been published in Cosmopolitan UK, Essence Magazine, Tribeza, Real Magazine, Austin Monthly, Austin Way, The Austin American Statesman, the Austin Chronicle, Brides Magazine, Martha Stewart Weddings, Colorado Weddings & Brides of Austin, and has appeared in countless online publications. He is a frequent mentor for photography students at Austin Community College, where he helps students prepare for their final portfolio reviews.

As a graphic designer, Nathan has worked with organizations such as the Miró Quartet, Devex, Action Against Hunger, The National Council of Jewish Women, CrewDC, and Grantfunders for Education, as well as many artists, musicians, and small businesses.  

He holds a Bachelor of Music in piano, and thrives on projects that blend his love for music with his passion for photography and design. 

At the Butler School, Nathan handles design for all print and digital communication channels, and designs and manages the creation of concert programs for the 600+ concerts each academic year.  He also provides original photography and assists with updates to the Butler School website. He was awarded the 2022 Outstanding Staff Award by the University of Texas At Austin President's office.   

In his free time, Nathan enjoys cinema, collecting fonts, great cocktails, paddle boarding, road cycling & mountain biking, and camping trips with his partner Amy, and their Wheaten Terrier Rothko.
