Natalia Guerra, Los Angeles, California. began playing the double bass in 5th grade and began teaching when she was in high school. She participated in high school orchestra chamber group, symphony orchestra, and pit orchestra. Through the Santa Monica high school music program, she performed frequently through the LA area and around the world at music halls such as the Philharmonie Berlin, home to the Berlin Philharmonic and and the Boston Symphony Hall. She was part of the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles and studied at the Tanglewood Institute of Music.
As a teacher, Guerra has mentored cello students through the Elemental Music program, where she developed a passion for teaching. Guerra studies double bass at the Butler School of Music. In her free time I likes to stay active, be outdoors, read, cook and spend time with family and friends.
