Outside of clarinet, Jacob has also served as a teaching assistant for Jerry Junkin and the UT Longhorn Band, where he primarily worked with the saxophone section, but also conducted several pre-game and halftime shows. In 2019-2021, Jacob worked as assistant booking manager for the Joshua Espinoza Trio, a jazz combo based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Jacob enjoys finding new TV shows, hosting gatherings, admiring architecture, and spending time with his fiancée and two cats, Boo and Chino.
