Natalie Reitzes, originally from Middletown, Delaware, is a first-year graduate student in the Music and Human Learning program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, where she served as both Principal and Assistant Principal Violist. During her time at Kutztown, Natalie served on the Executive Board of the University’s chapter of the National Association for Music Educators, and received the Department of Music Education’s “Outstanding Leadership” award in 2025. She has performed in a variety of ensembles, including Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Ensemble on viola, as well as Symphonic Band and Marching Band on alto saxophone.

Natalie has five years of experience teaching private lessons, with a studio of nine students ranging from 10-38 on the viola, violin, and cello. In addition, she has worked as a special education paraprofessional, teaching music to three and four year olds with autism.

Natalie is passionate about bringing a holistic and student-centered approach to music education. She values reflective practice, collaboration, and differentiation to provide students with an education catered to their specific learning styles.
