The Presser Foundation awarded two Butler School students, Khalil Gray (M.M. | Bassoon Performance) and Ariana Chan (B.A. | Oboe) two of their annual grants.
Gray secured one of the Graduate Music awards which is “designed to encourage and support in a special way the advanced education and career of truly exceptional graduate music students who have the potential to make a distinguished contribution to the field of music,” according to Presser’s website.
Chan took home one of the Undergraduate Scholar Awards, given to students who “show a high level of academic and musical accomplishment and embody the qualities of leadership and citizenship.
