The newly formed Logos String Quartet embodies the energies and efforts of four individuals and professors at Louisiana State University. Based on a common understanding of the importance of communication through music, the formation of Logos seemed a natural and timely artistic imperative for the years ahead in Louisiana. The group seeks to ever-widen its outreach through performances in schools, institutions, concert halls and venues at home and afar. Its members are internationally reputed and acclaimed artists and teachers with diverse career and cultural backgrounds. All deeply devoted to education, they have by whatever fate made their home in Baton Rouge, where they share their ideas and inspiration with their students.
