Follow the antics of the larger-than-life John Falstaff, a likable buffoon focused on eliminating his financial debts through the courtship of married women. Outwitted at nearly every turn in sitcom-level antics, you’re sure to see why this last opera of Verdi’s is his greatest comedic achievement, and agree with the cast: life is just one big farce!

Sung in Italian with English supertitles.

*Libretto adapted by Arrigo Boito from the play The Merry Wives of Windsor and scenes from Henry IV, Part 1 and Part 2 , by William Shakespeare.
