ABOUT
Theodore McCoy is an emerging young talent in classical guitar. He won first prizes at the CSU International Guitar Symposium and the UT Dallas International Guitar Competition and Festival. He has performed across the US and internationally as a member of Austin Classical Guitar Youth Orchestra. McCoy has performed as an opening act for artists including Ana Vidovic, Dieter Hennings Yeomans, and GRAMMY™ winner David Russel. He has also performed in concert alongside the renowned guitarist Pepe Romero.
Numerous recordings of Austin Classical Guitar student repertoire feature McCoy alongside his longtime collaborators Jianna Zamora and Greg Sonnier. He has studied with Dr. Thomas Echols and Adam Holzman.
