Building Manager
Nita Isom is the Building Manager at the Butler School of Music. Originally from St. Louis, MO, she recently moved to Austin and started at the University of Texas at Austin in the College of Liberal Arts as a course scheduler. Nita received her BA in English literature and BM in clarinet performance from Lawrence University in 2024. In addition to her studies at Lawrence, she worked for many years with the Facilities Operations department managing work orders, collaborating with campus tradespeople, and assisting with capital projects.
In her free time, Nita enjoys costuming, sewing, crafting, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
