ABOUT

A native of São Paulo, Brazil, Juliana now calls Austin, Texas home. She honed her skills in São Paulo's bustling music scene before pursuing her master's degree in jazz piano performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where she focused her studies on the work of women composers.

In Austin, Juliana has performed at prestigious venues including the Elephant Room, Monks Jazz, Parker Jazz Club, and Moody Center, showcasing her versatility across solo piano, trio, quartet, and big band settings, where she's also had the opportunity to feature her work as a composer. Her debut record, featuring original compositions and special guests including saxophonist Joel Frahm and singer Dani Gurgel, is scheduled for release in Spring 2027.

Juliana is an assistant professor at Austin Community College, where she teaches jazz combo and jazz piano lessons, and also maintains a busy private piano studio.
