Annie Hayden

Annie Hayden serves on the piano technician team as assistant piano technician.

Annie comes to Butler by way of Los Angeles where she worked as a freelancer and an institutional tech, most recently at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music. Her piano technology journey started at Steinway & Sons in New York City as a very green apprentice in the 57th Street showroom, prepping retail pianos and later working for the Concert and Artist Department, where the best advice was “hit it harder!”

Away from school, Annie enjoys time with family and friends (and their pets), watching old movies, singing and word puzzles.
