String Project Instructor, Viola
ABOUT
Aiden Flora is a multifaceted musician who began his musical journey at age 11 on the viola. With additional thanks to his subsequent piano study, he became involved in several jazz bands and other pursuits ranging from concert band, choir, jazz combo, theatre, chamber, and solo settings. An effective leader, Aiden also took on roles such as principal violist and concertmaster. He was a founding member of the Eaton HS mariachi and of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra Youth Council. Some of his honors include being selected as a TMEA All-State musician, earning the title of valedictorian of Eaton HS, and his soloist debut with the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra in 2026. Aiden formerly studied with Joni Baczewski and Sarah Archer.
Outside of performing, Aiden loves to compose/arrange music and study liberal arts in general. His favorite part of music is collaborating with other people! He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in viola performance at The University of Texas at Austin where he studies with Wilhelm Magner.
