Undergraduate Advising

The College of Fine Arts is a mandatory advising college. Students must meet with the academic advisor in the Butler School of Music every semester prior to registration.

Most students find it helpful to visit the academic advisor multiple times a year to discuss their academic plans and progress.

Integrated Career Advising

Fine Arts Career Services offers workshops, programs and individual career advising appointments each semester. All fine arts students are required to attend programming or advising at Fine Arts Career Services three times during their academic career:

  • First semester of sophomore year
  • Second semester of junior year
  • Final semester of senior year
