DMA student Mallory McHenry was the Performance Today Young Artist in Residence for Minnesota Public Radio in March 2019. While there, she taped several radio segments, recorded a performance video and performed several outreach concerts in the community and for MPR donors.

In addition to performances with the San Antonio, Valley, and Austin Symphony orchestras, Senior Lecturer in Harp Delaine Leonard taught student master classes at McPhail and Studio Fidicina in Minneapolis, at the Virginia Suzuki Institute (Emory and Henry College) and American Suzuki (University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point) Institutes. She also trained several new and returning Suzuki Harp teachers at those venues. As the recipient of a Butler Faculty Development Grant, Professor Leonard, trained in Dalcroze and attended the Suzuki Convention of the Americas in Cancun, Mexico, in May 2019.
