Dr. William Cheng will give a presentation entitled, "The Musicological Mystique", a critique of how myths, motivations, and ideals of musical and musicological exceptionalism may obstruct agendas of justice.
This lecture is presented by the UT Austin Musicology & Ethnomusicology Division and the Association of Graduate Musicology/Ethnomusicology Students and is a part of Dr. Cheng's O'Donnell Residency at UT-Austin.
