Biographies

Bill Thomas is currently the Second Trombonist in the Tonhalle-Orchester Zurich. Prior to accepting this position in 2011, he was the Second Trombonist in the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Thomas has also been a member of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, United States Navy Concert and Ceremonial Band in Washington DC, Sao Paolo State Symphony Orchestra, and the New World Symphony.

Nathan Zgonc is currently the Acting Principal Trombone of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra since the 2014/15 season. He holds the Associate Principal/Second/Utility trombone position with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Before this appointment, Mr. Zgonc played Principal trombone in the Vancouver Symphony, Principal trombone in the Utah Symphony and Opera, Principal trombone in the Sarasota Orchestra, Principal and Second trombone in the San Antonio Symphony, and trombone in the United States Navy Band and the Oregon Symphony.
